**I chose Kickstarter to fund the illustrations, because it is an all or nothing platform. If we don't reach the funding goal, no one is charged. If we reach the goal, I can move forward with production.

​My goal represents the baseline needed to move forward with the project. The full cost of creating and delivering the book is higher than my goal. Any funds raised beyond the goal will cover illustration, printing, and delivery costs.

I’m compiling a new anthology with eight authors, where every short story features a book club that just can’t resist a little matchmaking. We’re targeting publication in October 2026, and I hope to share the cover with you soon.
