After years (no exaggeration!) of waiting, my first children’s picture book is finally almost ready to come to life. I wrote the story years ago, and a friend even made some sketches—but finding (and affording) a professional illustrator felt impossible. I filed it away, thinking, “Someday.”

Now, that “someday” has arrived! My story is in the hands of a talented illustrator, and I’m thrilled to announce that I’m launching a Kickstarter to help bring the illustrations to life.

This story is full of heart, hope, and a little fun—keep an eye out for the Bethlehem star hidden on every page!

My Kickstarter launched today, and I’d love for you to be part of bringing this story to children everywhere. I am a little nervous, but I am also excited!

• All-or-nothing funding: If the project reaches its goal by the deadline, I get the funds to make it happen. If not, no one is charged, and the campaign ends.
